The Aftershock London Autumn/Winter 2009 look book comes to us from Russia with love. The designers whisk us on a 1,500-mile trip to Moscow to present a gorgeous array of key pieces influenced by the best of East European and Russian folk tradition. The result is a collection that makes a statement about who you are and what you stand for. So Tsar, so good!

The exclusive Gold Collection is more luxurious than ever. The evening and occasion wear - as modeled by prima ballerinas - focuses on silhouettes taking on a truly expressive form. Swarovski crystal, silk ruffles and sequin embellishments form decorative touches on minimalist shapes that add to the glamour of pieces.

The scarlet halter neck evening dress is a classic example of the folding and draping of sculptural fabrics to create picture-perfect shapes. Fluid fabrics contrast with solid architectural aesthetics. Skillfully cut military style coats come in every shape and colour. Handcrafted tops and dresses feature open work and fine lace fabrics.
