Rory Ross is a well-kent face on the London restaurant scene. As a deeply-respected critic, the Capital's restaurateurs have been known invite him in before they open for business rather than afterwards. Rory is familiar around here, too - lunch, dinner or just grazing - he is always keen to run his taste-buds over all that's good at Whiteleys.
Rory Rates...All Star Lanes
From Meatloaf Madness Monday to Fajita Night Friday, All Star Lanes have devised a bespoke Diner Menu for their Whiteleys venue. True to the vintage retro feel, the menu offers a mesmerisingly mouthwatering selection of Appetizers, Blue Plate Specials, Raw Seafood Bar, Cream Sodas, Milk Shakes, Alcoholic Shakes, Salads, Juices, Sandwiches, Hand Carved Steaks, Boston Beans and Succotash on the side, you name it, it's here... and more.
Hmmm... Should it be salt and pepper popcorn squid to start, then Bourbon Barbequed Baby Back Ribs as a main? Or New England clam chowder followed by Seafood Creole? Or shall I plump for a meat ball hoagie, a lobster, avocado and crispy bacon sandwich or a classic Cobb salad... or persuade my family to share a four-people Grilled Prime Rib platter?
Or save room for a New York baked cheese cake or Fresh fruit and champagne sorbet sundae. I can see the kids pleading for a Chocoholic or Skyscraper Sundae!
The more you look at the menu, below, the more you realize you'll be coming back again, and again, and again...to try, savour and enjoy!
